[vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Faced with ever-increasing fuel oil and gas prices, a decline in the availability of these resources, and global warming, is heating with wood or pellets the future?

Wood and pellet heating equipment forecasts

Forecasts for pellet heating are set to rise by 31% between now and 2028. As a result, its use in industry and local authorities is set to grow significantly. In fact, wood-fired heating is popular because it’s renewable and carbon-free. However, there is a need to optimize its use.

How can I optimize my energy consumption with wood heating?

First of all, to avoid energy loss, you need to insulate the area to be heated as well as possible. In the face of global warming, investment in insulation is essential. Next, you need to choose your heating appliance not on price alone, but in relation to your needs (don’t over-optimize your heating) and your energy consumption.

What are my heating requirements and how much power do I need? Is heating with wood or pellets the right solution?

Heating with wood – logs, pellets or wood chips – is no different from heating with fossil fuels (oil, gas).

Our design office will calculate your energy requirements and the installation of your heating system based on :

  • Area to be heated
  • Heat loss
  • Where to install your heater
  • if you want distributed heat zones

Polypoles, a specialist in air treatment, answers these questions and guides you in your choice.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”14014″ img_size=”300×400″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][vc_single_image image=”14011″ img_size=”300×400″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]What’s more economical than heating with wood or pellets?

Polypoles, a specialist in air treatment, answers these questions and guides you in your choice. We won’t be talking about wood-burning stoves, as these are mainly intended for home use, and we’re mainly talking to professionals. The wood-burning stove heats small areas. The wood-fired boiler also heats water; Polypoles offers air-heating solutions.

The wood-fired generator

Our wood generator is ideal for all professionals working with wood. Whether you’re a carpenter, cabinetmaker, woodworker or sawmill, you can turn your wood offcuts into energy!

Instead of paying to dispose of your wood, sawdust and shavings, you can use them to heat your home. This means that the price of fuel is €0.

Our wood generator depends on a fuel whose price is free for some and little variable if you have to buy it, so to heat your workshop, garage, warehouse, it can meet your expectations.

The pellet generator

Pellets or wood pellets are very promising, as they are the cheapest fuels on the market. The price does not vary much, and it is an energy whose resources are not exhaustible like fuel oil or gas.

What you need to know about pellet generators :

Investing in a pellet-fired generator requires careful thought about its use. Although the purchase price may seem onerous, over the long term it quickly pays for itself in terms of efficiency, as the price per kW/h is significantly reduced.

We have selected our pellet generators based on a number of important criteria:

Durability and sturdiness (high-quality materials, 2-year warranty)

European manufacture (careful assembly guarantees reliability)

Positive feedback

The advantages of pellet furnaces

Our range of pellet heaters extends from 40 kW to 500 kW. They can operate completely independently. Equipped with a thermostat to set the desired, programmable temperature.

You can also choose between manual loading in 15 kg bags or automatic loading with a storage tank for your pellets.

Pellet efficiency

We would like to draw your attention to the selection of your wood pellets.

There are 3 types of wood pellets:

  • hardwoods
  • softwoods, also known as premium
  • a mixture of the two. (50% – 50% with more softwood than hardwood)

Polypoles advises the third type.

As hardwood-only type is becoming less and less available, some suppliers are distributing softwood-only, which quickly clogs up your generators and causes installations to lose output.

Please note
that wood pellets are standardized
standardized
according to strict criteria: max diameter 6mm, max length 31 to 40mm, moisture content less than or equal to 10%, ash content less than or equal to 0.7%, density 650 to 700 kg/m3.

It must be stored in a dry place, otherwise the product will deteriorate completely.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
